Adam is a Partner at Dreamit Ventures, a Philadelphia based venture fund, where he leads the HealthTech vertical. Dreamit focuses on late Seed and Series A ready digital health and medtech startups. Adam’s career has focused on building early stage venture-backed companies. He co-founded five health technology companies and served as CEO of three. He has raised significant venture capital and led several M&A transactions. Adam has also published numerous articles and videos (Dreamit Dose series) covering startup fundraising, pitching, and best practices.Adam serves on the boards of Safkan Health, RightAir, and ZSX Medical and is an active angel investor. He has served as a board director for 15 startups and is a named inventor on eight U.S. patents. He teaches a graduate level course on entrepreneurship within the Penn School of Medicine. Adam holds a BSE from the Wharton School and an MBA from UCLA.
Aaron Goldmuntz, MBA, MSHA
Aaron Goldmuntz is Chief Operating Officer for the Center for Medical Interoperability. He is responsible for overall operations and leads ecosystem engagement. Mr. Goldmuntz has nearly twenty years of experience in strategy, strategic alliances, finance, and business development related to medical technologies.
As part of the C4MI founding team, Mr. Goldmuntz has helped secure financial sustainability through grants and health system membership dues. He has also engaged multiple stakeholders including technology vendors, government, standards development organizations and associations towards achieving comprehensive interoperability and data liquidity.
Prior to C4MI, Mr. Goldmuntz served in a strategic role with the West Health Institute, focused on the economic impact that medical device interoperability can have to enable improved patient care. Previously, He led business development for CardioNet (BioTelemetry/Philips) the pioneering provider of mobile cardiovascular telemetry. In addition, at Guidant Corporation (Boston Scientific) he focused on applications of the Latitude Patient Management with heart failure management. Mr. Goldmuntz received his BA in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, his MHSA from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and his MBA from the Michigan Ross School of Business.
Ian Strug is a 12-year veteran in Healthcare IT, with operator and executive experience with interoperability, IT integration and digital health. Currently, Ian serves as co-founder and Chief Customer Officer at Virgo, a Series-A Digital Health startup serving life sciences and endoscopic medicine.
Prior to starting Virgo, Ian began his career at Epic Systems, where he led large, complex interoperability projects with some of the nation's largest healthcare systems. He continued this work at Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on provider growth strategy, technology enablement, and large-scale interoperability projects. He has published and spoken on a variety of healthcare IT topics, including post-merger integration and digital scaling, operational interface strategy, and business strategy in big data.
When he isn't helping providers like MGH, Cleveland Clinic, University of Chicago, Mt Sinai and others solve their toughest interoperability and digital health problems, you can find him in Chicago checking out the concert scene, or rock climbing in far flung places.
