Wednesday, September 28, 2022 (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM) (EDT)

Recent trends in digital healthcare highlight the growing need to make healthcare more accessible to patients and consumers. With the pandemic, telehealth utilization increased 63-fold. And, since 2021, according to Deloitte, digital health entrants now allow plans to both reduce costs and increase efficiencies and quality in areas like chronic condition management, care navigation, and digital benefits. These trends are so prominent, even companies like Amazon work to increase access to primary care. In this workshop, we will discuss the changing role of technology in shifting control of healthcare to patients/consumers and ways to continue to meet patients' needs.
