Allan Frank, CEO, Think New Visions (MODERATOR)

Allan Frank is the CEO of the strategic technology advisory firm, Think New Visions. He founded the company after retiring as Chief Technology & Innovation Officer for Capgemini Invent, a global business unit of the Capgemini Group. He also led the Data & Analytics Solutions practice within Capgemini Invent North America. He brings over 45 years of technology and business leadership. His background includes Chief Digital Officer for The Hackett Group, President, CTO & Cofounder of Hackett/Answerthink, Inc, CTO for the City of Philadelphia, and Partner-in-Charge of Enabling Technologies Consulting, CTO & Boardmember with KPMG Peat Marwick. 

Allan focuses on the application of transformational technologies, in particular, the disruptive role of Artificial Intelligence in the Re-Imagined Enterprise. Allan is also a recognized expert in the areas of information delivery, decision support and knowledge management. He has been recognized for his contributions to the IT Industry by several technology publications including Philadelphia Tech, where he was selected as one of the top 10 Technology Leaders in the region and InformationWeek, where he was selected as one of the top 10 Technology Innovators in the United States. Mr. Frank received the Computerworld Premier 100 Award which identified him as one of the top 100 people in the U.S. having an exceptional ability to lead their organizations through the effective use of technology. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Computer Science and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Lehigh University and he is also a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. He currently serves as a member of Board of Advisors of the Drexel Lebow College of Business. 

Jared P. Coyle, Ph.D., Head, The Creative Collective, SAP

Jared Coyle is an AI technologist, creative leader, garlic enthusiast and family man. He leads The Creative Collective, an organization that ignites collaborations with over 1,200 companies per year to create ‘awesome new stuff.’ Jared has held leadership roles in escalations, support, consulting and sales at SAP. Prior to SAP, he was a lecturer in Quantum Optoelectronics at Drexel University and the University of Nairobi. Jared has been recognized as one of 15 rising star employees at SAP by Business Insider and was given SAP’s highest award, the Hasso Plattner award. He holds multiple patents in software debugging and organic interferometric thin films.


Joseph Parente, Principal, Advisory, KPMG

Joe is KPMG’s U.S. Corporate Services Consulting Leader.  He has over 35 years of industry and consulting experience managing complex business transformation and technology innovations for his clients.  In his role, he is responsible for performing market research, authoring industry and technology thought leadership, and setting strategic direction for KPMG’s Corporate Services Consulting business. 

Joe has a broad background in strategy articulation, management consulting, technology innovation and systems integration.  He continues to advise senior executives for cloud, AI and automation enabled enterprise business transformation initiatives.

Joe has served as executive program director of global business transformations for companies seeking to aggressively improve business performance. In this role, he has provided leadership in managing a variety of engagements emphasizing rigorous cost analysis and benefit realization. His engagements have included operational strategies, enterprise program management, large scale business system deployments, strategy and governance.


Russ Kliman, New Business Ventures, CVC Global Head, SEI

Russ is a strategic and innovative leader focused on driving growth through the exploration and leveraging of emerging technologies, an entrepreneurial mindset, and an intense focus on execution excellence. As a lifelong learner, disruptor, and challenger of mental models, Russ is an evangelist of design thinking, human centered design, and creative problem solving.

Russ currently serves as the global executive leader for SEI’s (NASDAQ: SEIC) corporate venture capital program. In his capacity, Russ seeks to identify strategic opportunities to drive new product development in existing and adjacent markets, accelerate the expansion or launch of existing and new platforms, and be a catalyst for the introduction of emerging technologies within SEI.

Throughout Russ’ career, he has held leadership roles in technology, product strategy, user experience and design, marketing, innovation strategies, and strategic investments. With over 20 years at SEI, Russ has also had the opportunity to engage with executive leadership facilitating conversations on strategy, ideation, and envisioning future growth opportunities, as well as working with executives within SEI’s global ecosystem of clients.

Russ extends his engagement and contributions beyond the corporate setting into the academic world. As an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University’s School of Business EMBA program and Drexel University’s LeBow School of Business, he shares his experiences and knowledge in innovation, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and business value creation using emerging technologies. In addition, Russ is equally active in the startup ecosystem, serving as a board member, advisor, mentor, and investor in various startups. He regularly takes part as an expert panelist and keynote speaker, discussing entrepreneurship, innovation strategies, emerging technologies, and storytelling.

Russ is a Philadelphia area native and graduated from Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics.


Laks Srinivasan, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Return on AI Institute

Laks Srinivasan has over 15 years of experience in enabling digital/data/analytics/AI-driven transformation as a trusted advisor, board member, executive, and entrepreneur. He has held a variety of business building and operating roles in leading data analytics and AI companies. Through dozens of real-world customer projects across a portfolio of verticals, Laks has a wealth of practical experience in deploying AI and ML at scale from concept to full scale deployment. He is skilled in strategy, product and organizational execution required for value realization of AI and ML. Laks has worked extensively with clients in commercial, non-profit and government sectors to transform Marketing and Sales, Customer Intelligence, Operations, and Risk/Fraud management functions. Laks currently is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Return on AI Institute, a best practices business research and advisory firm helping enterprises maximize economic and social return on AI. At the institute, he advises non-digital native companies and their leadership teams on understanding, preparing, and executing on AI-driven transformations. Laks, as co-principal investigator, conducts business research and gives talks and presentations on AI research findings in venues such as MIT Sloan Management Review editorial webinars. Previously, Laks was COO of Opera Solutions, an applied AI and ML solutions company with top placement in many ML competitions including the Netflix prize, KDD Cup, and Kaggle (Expedia). With over 500+ employees including 150+ world-class ML scientists, Laks was responsible for overall commercial strategy and day-to-day execution globally in US, Europe, India and China. At Opera, he spearheaded multiple aspects of the business model transformation through a patented data science platform and a portfolio of SaaS products. He played a key role in successfully completing multiple rounds of capital raise totaling $200M+ from PE, Growth Equity and Strategic Investors. Laks also served on the board of Opera Solutions. Prior to Opera Solutions, Laks formerly was with FICO (NYSE: FICO), an analytics company that is helping businesses make better decisions that drive higher levels of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. As Senior Director of Innovation Management, he directed all aspects of new product development in the financial services and retail sectors. Prior to joining Fair Isaac, Laks was CEO of ExpenseAdvisor, Inc., a start-up company with a novel, proprietary electronic bill payment–based cross-sell platform for banks. Previously, Laks held positions with Booz Allen Hamilton and Syntel, Inc (Atos Syntel since 2018). Laks holds an MBA from Wharton in entrepreneurial management and finance, as well as a BS in electrical engineering from NIT, India. Laks is a senior fellow for leadership development at the Enterprise Systems Center, Lehigh University where he mentors senior and graduate students on data analytics projects for industry and government. Laks currently serves on the board of Lehigh Valley Public Media (PBS/NPR Radio) and serves as Chair of eh Technology Committee. He is a volunteer fire fighter at the Hanover Township Fire Company in Bethlehem, PA.
